“The Astrology of Family and Ancestral Lineage”

In this workshop, I’ll be covering how to determine our family issues indicated in our own natal chart and also what the birth charts of our children, parents and ancestors can tell us about deep patterns inherited through the family system. If you’re interested in this workshop, it can be helpful to track down birthdates (and birth time if available, but it’s not essential) of parents, grandparents etc and bring to the day.
This is an area of astrology that I’m very interested in…. my 12th House Cancerian Moon compels me to want to deeply understand these complex patterns in family systems and I’ve learnt a lot.

“Retrograde Planets”

I’m often asked about retrograde planets in the chart. In the second half of 2026 there will be a number of planets moving in retrograde motion and for a period in October to November this year, both Mercury and Venus will be retrograde in water signs. I’ll explain retrograde motion and the various ways each of the planets may be experienced when they appear to be moving backwards in the sky. Rx planets are often seen as carrying karmic energy from the past or from unresolved ancestral issues. I’ll also introduce progressions and what may be experienced when a nataly retrograde planet turns direct by progression (or the reverse), at some time in your life.
