Veronica, our previous QFA President,  began her astrological studies in the mid 90s by studying with Doris Greaves at the Regulus Ebertin School of Astrology in Canberra, obtaining her Diploma of Astrology in 1999.

In 2001, she relocated to Brisbane, her place of birth and joined the QFA, where she was the Acrux editor for a number of years. Veronica also ran a website for twelve years offering online astrological counselling.

Veronica likes to concentrate on Mundane astrology, and over the years has presented the Aries Ingress chart at BARS (Brisbane Astrological Research Society). She also incorporates midpoints in her astro work and places emphasis on Solar Arcs in chart interpretations.

In this talk Vanessa will outline a simple technique that is useful in discovering your past life story and lesson according to your astrological south node, and the pivot require by your North Node aka your North Star, to activate your destiny. 

You’ll learn about the nodes in your chart, what they represent.

After learning about the nodes, I’ll explain the simple technique I use to regress my clients back to experience their nodal story, perhaps a past life, perhaps the subconscious cleverly delivering a narrative around the theme you’re here to express as your destiny.

The Astrology of Cult Leaders

We will take a look at the natal charts of a few well known Cult Leaders including Jim Jones and David Koresh.
Cult Leaders form and mould their followers through careful manipulation and deception… The Cult Leader reinvents themselves as a messiah and the only conduit through which their followers may receive direction. Once this level of control is established, the consequences are often deadly.
What are some of the underlying issues of these individuals and how is that reflected in their natal charts?

CHRYS O’HARE – SATURN: FRIEND OR FOE?

Chrys O’Hare has always been totally fascinated by astrology and numerology, and began studying it in earnest in the mid-70s after she started attending astrology meetings at the QFA in Brisbane. With a background in office admin and art she completed a BVA and Masters in Applied Linguistics in the 80s and 90s, and as a vocational educator taught art and English in school, TAFE and university.  Throughout this time astrology and numerology have always been an absorbing interest, and a mainstay giving guidance and direction in life to herself and others. She views studying astrology as an awe inspiring, never-ending journey pivotal to understanding the individual, the world, its cycles and humanity at large.

MARC LAURENSON

Marc bought his first Astrology Book at age 10 and was smitten from the word go. After years of self-study, influenced strongly by Evolutionary techniques he began reading charts at his Saturn Return. This gradually built into his own successful consulting business Marc Laurenson Astrology. Soon after, the popular Sydney Astrology School morphed from a handful of students that were taken on a very casual level. Sydney Astrology School is now celebrating its 10^th anniversary with the School going Online this year teaching students from around the Globe.
